The clinic provides one-on-one physical therapy sessions - every appointment is with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, not an assistant or aide. RehabSpot operates as both a cash-based and insurance-accepting practice, with sessions ranging from 30 to 90 minutes depending on the patient's needs. The clinic is located inside Xymogym and also offers Spanish-language services.

In Florida, patients can access physical therapy through direct access - no physician referral is required. RehabSpot offers a free 15-minute consultation for new patients.

RehabSpot accepts most major insurance plans including Tricare, Medicare, Optum, United Healthcare, AvMed, Oscar, Humana, Aetna, Cigna, Magellan Health, Beacon, VetAssist, Community Care, and Allservers. Patients who pay cash can submit a master reimbursement receipt to their insurance for potential reimbursement. Typical cash-pay treatment plans range from $750 to $1,800 total, which RehabSpot states can be roughly 50% less than conventional insurance-based care for equivalent conditions. Acute conditions often improve in 2-6 sessions.

## About the Founder

- Dr. Jonathan Gonzalez, DPT, graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2018. He specializes in orthopedic and sports physical therapy with certifications in spinal manual therapy and manipulation, dry needling, and blood flow restriction training. Originally from Puerto Rico. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
